1-2-3-4- HOUSTON STARTS THE TWITTER WAR
It’s interesting to see that people are becoming more aware of Brian Houston’s social media campaign to further his ‘cult of personality’ and Hillsong. We were notified of this twitter exchange via Facebook and thought it gave an interesting insight into just how Brian Houston handles those he claims to care so much about.
Hillsong & Brian Houston Exposed
His online antics are hardly representative of pastoral behavior, to say the least. We encourage Christians, and non-Christians, to continue to challenge Brian Houston on social media and express your ongoing concerns to him.
5-6-7-8- WILL HIS TWEETS EVAPORATE?
How do you think Brian Houston should have responded towards the author of this tweet?
It’s easy to see that Brian Houston was not dealing with a Christian critic but the world he claims to strive to win. Is this the appropriate way to reach out to the lost?
@hillongLA and @BrianCHouston are both horseshit for the truly deluded. RT @BreedSkool @BrianCHouston @hillsongLA @selenagomez

Be sure to check for yourself before ‘authentic and genuine’ Brian Houston’s response to Meghan mysteriously disappears (as is so often the case).
If Houston’s reply was merely “and she is one of many, many sinners we welcome every Sunday. [full stop]” -and left it there- that would be quite a passable response to a very hostile critic.
The following words “Even slanderers like you” give the impression that Houston has very black-and-white thinking where it comes to negative feedback. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Splitting_(psychology)
slan·der
(slăn′dər)
n.
1. Law Oral communication of false and malicious statements that damage the reputation of another.
2. A false and malicious statement or report about someone.
Mr Houston – NO, negative truths are not slander, whether they benefit or harm the speaker/listener. Are only “nice words truthful words” in your worldview?
Is this an admittance by Brian that he is a failure?
Does saying ‘Even slanderers like you’ line up with ‘turning the other cheek’?
A twitter of facebook comment cannot be called slander anyway.
Libel, yes, but not slander.
Defamation, yes, but not slander.
Mr Houston’s lack of English showing again……
houston has been acting quite nasty and unstable lately on social media. Looks as if he has given up on calling people pharisees and calls them slanderers instead. Hmmmm..the celebrity has a much bigger tithe, and is much more important to the hillsong dollar$.
Wonder if that tweet will disappear like previous ‘brain-snaps’.
Venting one’s spleen on twitter and then deleting comments is hardly the measure of a godly leader. Very childish….
