Host of of the radio program Fighting for the Faith and Pastor of Kongsvinger Lutheran Church, Chris Rosebrough advertised his latest addition to his Museum of Idolatry:
This is Mr. Sparkle. Hillsong London invited him to show us what freedom in Jesus looks like.

From the Museum of Idolatry,
Are You Ready For The Word?
Founding pastor Brian Houston of Hillsong Church asked his Hillsong Church London, “Are you ready for the Word?” This was the response to Brian Houston’s question:
Did you know that Galatians 5:1 means Christ has set us free to “move it, move it”? Here are some of the lyrics to the above song:
“We don’t party hardly, we just party hard
And not because we’re bored
We do it cos we’re born again”
This idolatry piece get’s even weirder at 5:30.

In jesus time the tables would have been turned on this garbage!
In todays time; unplug the power cord and the rock n roll freak show will cease. What a disgrace the seeker sensitive churhes are.
The only question is: What next? Temple prostitutes? There is no limit really to this. Btw, I covered this on my blog at hillsongilmio.wordpress.com
“Founding pastor Brian Houston of Hillsong Church asked his Hillsong Church London, “Are you ready for the Word?”
I notice that mr. houston hardly ever says “the Word of God” anymore, just ‘the Word’.
Whose ‘word’ are we talking about here? One that would introduce nonsense such as mr. sparkle, or God’s Holy Word?
A while ago brian instagrammed his photo in church: “Church is to be enjoyed, not endured.” whilst wearing funny glasses.
Perhaps when confronted with a gimmicky hillsong service, brian might stop people walking out by quoting and mis-applying Matt 24:13, ” But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.”
Needless to say, Jesus Christ and His Apostles did not EVER stoop to these very low gimmicks to preach His Holy Word. The word ‘Holy’ seems to have been forgotten by houston and co.
As he asks if the audience are ready for the ‘word’, I notice that Mr. Houston is waffling and shifting his weight in a very strange way. Why is it that Brian always comes across like a little kid doing a skit in front of his class at school? Underprepared, uncomfortable and really hoping the lunch bell rings before he has to present his work.
this song i like to move it, was by a band called reel 2 reel and the mad stuntman. this song was released in 1994, 6 years before i got saved.
i was born again by water and holy spirit in 1999.
this song was in the secular top 40 music charts, it sold really well all around the world.
its really sad when the church uses the things of this world, and then tries to reproduce it as christian.
there is no place for worldly things in the church, yet the world has entered in to the church.
Matthew 24:15-16
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Mark 13:14
But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
Deuteronomy 7:26
Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.
2 Corinthians 6:3 We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. Playing secular songs in church like can be a stumbling block in the path of new Christians.
Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world. So while the church is in the world and has to cater to worldly people it can’t encourage people to conform to the world.
Perhaps their idea is Hebrews 6:1 Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity….
However Hillsong uses a lot of clever marketing but with increased numbers and trying to promote many churches in different locations around the world as one church I wonder if Hillsong pastors haven’t run themselves ragged and don’t have time to minister to people or read the bible.
‘Mr Sparkle’ has sisters!
Say hello to Lucifer, the being of light.
Yoo-hoo, here I am.
You have to be a complete Muppet to fall this oldest trick in the book. Oh my word.
