Hate to disappoint you, Bobbie but the hero of the bible is Christ and Christ alone.
Are we wrong when we say that Hillsong/Sisterhood followers represent themselves as the center of the (biblical) universe and that all of its redemptive history revolves around them? #selfabsorbedmuch?
Isaiah 48:11 “For My own sake, for My own sake, I will act; For how can My name be profaned? And My glory I will not give to another.”

Poor Bobby hasn’t been to primary school: she doesn’t even know the difference between a hero and a heroine. She really is hillsong’s analogue for Chris “Who Stole My Train of Thought” Pringle from C3.
And of course, Bobby is an excellent intellectual foil for her husband – sort of like mud sharpening mud. (God’s sense of humour is always apparent when one looks at pentecostal mega-pastor pairings, where the parties are invariably richly deserving of one another).

Yeah she’s saying, by implication, the fake heroes of the church are the ones ” who find themselves in the spotlight and travel the world”. Yeah I’ll agree with that Bobbie.
I found a copy of that book at a local 2nd hand shop so I’ll just buy it – and “bin” it…
