Now it has emerged that Hillsong recently had the ‘NY Naked Cowboy’ up on stage for their “Christian” Conference in the United States of America.
If you have a problem with this, according to Hillsong, you’re going to Hell.
“I think you are going to find [God] will deal with you. Big shocks ahead when judgmental people face their saviour. He only ever spoke harshly to the religious.” [Source]

Got to be fair: at beginning of second clip it can be clearly seen the “naked cowboy” is wearing blue, extremely short bum shorts/ underwear. However, the decision to do so in a so-called Christian meeting of any variety is unthinkable. If any person commits ANY personal sin as a result of seeing a near naked man on stage Hillsong is fully responsible.
Bad apples make good apples bad. Impure hearts make other hearts become impure. False teachers make followers believe falsehoods. If people showing how corrupted Hillsong has become – and therefore an abomination to God – are “judgemental Pharisees” (according to Hilsong) then every writer in the bible is one.
Examples:
1. King Solomon is certainly one.
Proverbs 11:20 They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the Lord: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.
Proverbs 14: 2 He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the Lord: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.
Proverbs 28:6 Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.

Charismatic Christian readers, for once ignore your programmed reflex response “do not judge EVER (or you’re a judgemental Pharisee)”. If you choose churches like Hillsong you are rejecting God’s Word and Jesus Himself because you love your “idol of experience” so much more than Jesus Himself.
Luke 11:23 [Jesus said] He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.
It is false teachers and false churches who are doing the scattering, not genuine Christians and Christian blogs.
Thinker – The Naked Cowboy is a well-known character in the States. The one on stage at the Color Conference appears to be just someone pretending to be him. Seeing the real character makes the copy (so cheerfully represented by Hillsong), even more inappropriate, don’t you think?

Took third thought to remove from slight amusement until Christian one.

That gives me personal sadness. If an older woman like myself who has tried so hard to turn worldly responses into godly ones (renewing of mind) had those first responses, what on earth are recent converts who haven’t realised yet that fleshly responses to a man on stage are ungodly ones?
Young and old Christians are going to be led into sin/ make excuses for it thanks to Hillsong’s extreme insensitiveness at the very best. Assume there’s a higher number of young women/ gay men at Hillsong New York church as well…. Hillsong could potentially be responsible for backsliding/ hardening hearts to conviction of sin on a huge scale.

Literally – God help those leaders responsible for leading Christians into sin if they do not repent.

Whoops – I have no idea why I hadn’t noticed that!!! An actual CHRISTIAN, not a guest appearance from someone famous to attract more visitors?
Either a “Christian” leader persuaded another follower to perform like that in a “church service”, or the follower volunteered to do that and the church leader agreed it was a great idea…. which is worse?
* A leader talking a follower into behaviour potentially leading other Hillsongees into sin (via gentle persuasion or emotional manipulation) OR
* a follower believing that behaviour is OK (no knowledge of Christian holiness) and the leader/s giving the official thumbs up (proving NO spiritual maturity, knowledge of holiness, or Christian discernment according to the bible).
Of course only “those in the know” have the whole story and know which of the two options occurred. Either way the whole situation is disgraceful, and if the video clip is pulled Hillsong will show they know that deep inside.

An “actual Christian” playing the role of a character known not only for his bad teeth, but for female characters in the films finding his “sleazy” charm irresistible. An obvious role for one of Christ’s under-shepherds to play.

Inviting someone who’s known to walk around in their underwear to perform on stage at your Christian Conference, now there’s spiritual for you. Maybe next year Mae West will show up on stage. Why not invite Naked Cowboy back too and they could do a duet? They could theme 2017 “Burlesque, Bums and the Bible too”.
Hillsong also promoted a cross-dressing Statute of Liberty! With the hashtag ‘befoundinthewave’ – Seems the ‘wave’ is the source of their salvation 😦

Rene Rendon, the term ‘apostasy’ pre-supposes that it was Christian in the first place, before becoming apostate. Given the ungodly pedigree of Hillsong as it has come down the line from Hills CLC and the legacy of Frank Houston, I do not suppose that Hillsong was ever a Christian church – ever.
This is absolutely correct. In interviews last year, you can hear why Brian Houston became a pastor: because his dad was a pastor. It’s not because he knew the gospel. He just copied his dad’s methods in how to become a popular guy.
