Carl Lentz mocks Trump and makes Brian Houston a liar over Naked Cowboy stunt…

Brian Houston, Carl Lentz, Naked Cowboy

We broke a story where Hillsong New York decided to have a Naked Cowboy take to the stage at their women’s Colour Conference Conference this year.

Family friendly Hillsong Includes the Dancing Naked Cowboy?

We then found out that it was a Hillsong Youth Pastor that played the controversial character.

If You’re Sexy and a Pastor, play the Cowboy?

When the story refused to die and the media started to report on it, Brian Houston then decided to respond. We called him out for lying as he was implying that Hillsong leadership had no idea how the Naked Cowboy ended up in the production.

Cowboy Damage Control: Hillsong leaders had no idea about Naked Cowboy’s appearance?

Lucky for all the Hillsong apologists, you don’t have to accuse us of claiming that Brian Houston lied. Lentz reveals to us this time that Brian Houston was simply being deceitful.

“What do you want to know about the Naked Cowboy? … We had a vague look-alike. It was a bad idea… But we like to make issues out of stuff so. Uh- it was our youth pastor. Um- it wasn’t his fault.” [See video below]

Good on you Brian for slagging off at people for perpetuating the story and accusing them of peddling “hearsay and rumour.”

You will notice that Carl Lentz took the opportunity to take a swipe at Christians (disciples/followers of Jesus who who have standards). Lentz clearly did not like being held accountable to Jesus’ standards. But who did he blame for his sins?

Hillsong, New Apostolic Reformation

Many people assume that the origins of Hillsong originated from Charismaticism, Pentecostalism or the Salvation Army. This is not true.

This series of articles looks at the history of the New Order of the Latter Rain (NOLR) and how it overtook the AOG in NZ, the AOG in Australia and how Frank Houston, the founder of Hillsong/Christian Life Center, was instrumental in spreading Latter Rain influences throughout New Zealand and Australian churches. In this article we will explore how Frank Houston redefined church governance under his apostolic leadership and removed the democratic voting rights of his church members.

The New Apostolic Reformation cult preach a false Jesus, false gospel and New Age metaphysical teachings and strategies in an attempt to bring heaven to earth.

You can read our articles to see how Frank Houston was influenced by the NOLR cult through the teachings of false prophet and fraudulent healer William Branham and other New Zealand Latter Rainers in his church:

Brian Houston: “Blocking haters on Twitter is like sport”

Do you sometimes question the things Brian Houston says or does at Hillsong? Maybe you are offended how he covered up his father’s pedophilia? Or how he lied about his father to his church, the media and the rest of the word? Maybe you are offended how Brian Houston condemns your church or your Christian friends so he can elevate his Hillsong movement?

Maybe you are offended with his scripture twisting? His financial scamming? His abusive behaviour towards other people? His bullying towards women who were asking for help or simply asking questions?

If you do have these types of questions, make sure you say nothing. According to Brian, you’re a hater. And according to Brian, this means he can’t wait to block you. (He admits he gets an adrenaline rush if he blocks haters like you.)

Don’t believe us?

Brian Houston tweets,

Blocking haters on Twitter is like sport. It gives you an adrenaline rush.

The Australian media have publicly labeled Brian Houston a megalomaniac. This kind of behaviour from Brian only confirms that he shows no stability as a pastor or even as a compassionate human being. We think “megalomaniac” is fitting. What are your thoughts on Brian Houston’s twitter comment?

For being prominent figures in Christianity, you would think that Brian Houston, Bobbie Houston, and their children would live godly lives and set the example for other Christians to follow, as is Biblical for a pastor and his family to do. If you think the Houstons are people of Biblical integrity, you are sadly mistaken and need to read your Bibles and compare their teachings, and lives, to Scripture’s standards.

Take for example, this instagram photo that was deleted after several people called out Esther Houston on Selena Gomez’ lack of attire and facial expression, in this picture? Esther Houston is pictured next to Selena, apparently unable to “live without you guys”.

Deleted picture 1

Do you think this could cause Christians to stumble?

Here is a comment by natasha_hilburn that was attached to the deleted instagram photo above:

Comment 1

Do you agree with natasha_hilburn? If you do, then apparently  you would be considered a “close minded Bible believing hater”. Although we can no longer demonstrate because the image was later  deleted, there were many hateful comments against natasha_hilburn and her very observant  biblical admonition. The majority to those commenting had no problem at all with the thoroughly inappropriate content initially posted then deleted. We would like to encourage and thank  natasha_hilburn for her boldness, courage and concern for those who would call themselves shepherds of God’s precious flock.

Here is the alternative picture Esther Houston posted after receiving backlash?

More decent picture

Notice there was no apology for causing others to stumble, and no accountability for Esther Houston’s carelessness. Instead, the evidence vanished in the blink of an eye and was seemingly replaced by one more appropriate..

Of course, Esther Houston also posts very strange pictures of herself like this on her Instagram feed. We ask the question – is this the sort of image we need to see, by the wife of a high-profile pastor?

It’s sad and disturbing that neither Brian nor Bobbie Houston have publicly called out their children for engaging in, and promoting this self-indulgent narcissistic lifestyle.

Brian Houston deceitfully changes media statement without notifications

Brian Houston, tanya levin

On the 1st of July, Hillsong released a media statement about A Current Affair and Tanya Levin “harassing minors in an unethical manner” at Hillsong Conference 2015.

Tanya-Book-Brian-Houston-Live-Love-Leave

We published his media statement in an article on the 2nd of July. This is what it said then:

Statement from Hillsong Church re: A Current Affair story

1st July, 2015

We understand A Current Affair has been promoting a story supposedly about the Hillsong Conference.

They have also been outside our conference today harassing minors in an unethical manner.

Furthermore they have engaged in a cheap publicity stunt by bringing a so called “Hillsong insider” who has not been to our church for 20 years, to our conference today.

We are advised that her behaviour outside the venue resulted in her being apprehended by police at the request of the arena’s security staff (not Hillsong staff).

The behaviour of A Current Affair is reprehensible and this pending story will be no more than a continuation of their anti-Christian agenda and hate.

This story will be entirely fabricated and contain no truth whatsoever as do all of their stories about our church.

We note that as usual the program has not contacted us for comment.

We urge Christians and all who stand for truth in reporting to refuse to even watch or record this tabloid trash, and not give them the reward of ratings, because in the end this is no more than a grab for ratings.

Somewhere between the publication of that media statement in July and mid October, Brian Houston tampered with his media statement.

The information that Brian Houston tampered with was this sentence:

“We are advised that her behaviour outside the venue resulted in her being apprehended by police at the request of the arena’s security staff (not Hillsong staff).”

It now reads:

“We are advised that her behaviour outside the venue resulted in her being apprehended by police.”

The updated media statement  provided no additional information suggesting that the media statement was edited or tampered with.

No apology. No update. Nothing.

There is nothing wrong saying that a change has been made to a publication. However, Houston felt the need to change his media statement that was presented to the public.

Why did he do this? Why did he not release the date when he changed the media statement? By removing this detail, Houston wants to remove the idea of Hillsong or arena staff being involved in the removal by police of Tanya Levin. What he wants to do is focus on the police doing the removal and not draw attention to Hillsong and Arena staff involvement.

However, having removed this information, one has to wonder if Hillsong staff were intrinsically involved in contacting police in the removal of Tanya Levin. (Clearly it was important for Brian Houston to remove it. And how would Brian Houston know?)

The Hillsong media statement now says,

Because this article on Brian Houston and Hillsong is questioning and analysing it’s history and leadership, this article is not from God but the devil. (That’s how the Hillsong philosophy goes. If it’s good, praise God! If it’s bad, it’s of the devil.)

There is so much to examine in this article which we are sure to refer to in articles to come.

The Sydney Morning Herald reports,
