Hillsong informed Chris Rosebrough last year that Carl Lentz was counselling the #BroadwayFiances, Reed Kelly and Josh Canfield.
“Now when I covered the story earlier last week, I made it clear that I had heard through channels that Carl Lentz had said that they had addressed this and that the pastors of Hillsong were “privately counseling” the couple.” [Source]
Clearly Hillsong think they have done a “fantabulous” job with their private counselling sessions (whatever that means). And it’s great to know that Hillsong senior pastor Brian Houston claims to be a traditional church and does not accept same-sex marriage…
Unless he’s lying again.

Who is teaching these men it’s “okay” to be gay and be Christian?
What utter nonsense.
Whoever is teaching that needs to give their Scripture reference.
What I find most intriguing about the pro-gay agenda is how quiet they all are on the health issues associated with sodomite behaviour.
It’s apparently a big problem because the ‘sexual health clinics’ are in every city, catering to gay male issues.
It’s a disgusting thing to think about (IMHO) and I find nothing lovely or romantic about it… but the consequences of this behaviour are REAL and they are never talked about in the open.
I find this really odd.

This is simply an out working of Hillsong’s theology.Hillsong will come out of the closet in the next couple of years and openly support homosexual behaviour,thereby affirmimg their antinomian beliefs that they constantly deny in public but preach otherwise behind closed doors.

Agreed. That would not come as any kind of s ‘surprise’.
It’s nothing more than Hillsongs next step in moving away from calling themselves a church and becoming some sort of new age cult. I suspect that will really start getting momentum once Brian vacates his place and the next guy takes over, although Brian is preparing the groundwork.
